The technology behind SPARKLES is approved by the Israeli Ministry of Health as a medical device for improving attention, and approved for sale in the European Union.

SPARKLES are for people with attention difficulties who want to improve their functioning and quality of life.
What do SPARKLES look like?
SPARKLES look like a regular pair of stylish prescription glasses, available in a wide range of frames and colors. Just choose the design you like and we will fit it for you.
I'm not diagnosed with ADHD. Can I use SPARKLES?
Absolutely. You don't need a diagnosis to enjoy better attention control.
I wear prescription glasses. Can SPARKLES work for me?
Yes. The glasses are made with high-quality optical lenses that suit your vision needs. Please enter the current prescription of the glasses you wear today and are comfortable with. If you have several pairs with different prescriptions, enter the prescription of the pair you mainly wear when you find it hard to focus. If your fitting takes place at one of our service centers, we can read the prescription from the glasses you wear today, so you don't need to bring one.
I don't wear glasses. Can SPARKLES work for me?
Yes. If you don't wear glasses, yours are made with quality zero-power (plano) optical lenses.

What makes SPARKLES unique?
What makes SPARKLES unique is a map of tiny stimuli embedded in the lenses, in the peripheral vision area. The stimuli are tailored to each person based on facial measurements and the results of a series of attention tests.
How do SPARKLES work?
SPARKLES work through the arousal system. With a map of stimuli embedded in the lenses in the peripheral field of vision, SPARKLES stimulate the visual system and raise the arousal level. This rise makes up for the low arousal associated with ADHD, allowing attention to be directed more efficiently and improving overall functioning.
How are arousal and attention related?
Arousal is a general state of alertness and readiness to act. Among other things it regulates consciousness, attention, alertness and information processing, so arousal and functioning are closely linked.
Arousal plays a central role in ADHD. Research links the disorder to the ability to regulate arousal. ADHD is characterized by low arousal, which leads both to weaker attention and to more hyperactive symptoms.
In other words, people with ADHD have relatively low arousal, which makes learning, focusing and holding back a response harder.

What does peripheral vision do?
Peripheral vision is a sensing system that is highly sensitive to changes in light and movement around us. It gives us essential information about our surroundings and lets us see the big picture, which we use to direct and divide our attention. SPARKLES build on this to raise arousal and improve attention.

Are SPARKLES safe to use?
SPARKLES' safety has been tested in several studies and they were found safe to use. In the first days of use there may be mild effects such as headache, dizziness, a heavy feeling in the head or eye strain, which are expected to pass within a few days. The technology behind SPARKLES is approved by the Israeli Ministry of Health and approved for sale in the European Union.
Have SPARKLES been studied?
Yes, several studies support the efficacy and safety of SPARKLES.
The studies were approved by an ethics committee and run together with leading researchers.
The findings show that over 80% of participants reported an improvement with SPARKLES. Using SPARKLES also led to:
o a marked reduction in attention symptoms
o fewer hyperactive symptoms (in adolescents)
o better executive functions, such as monitoring and control.

What is the success rate?
In clinical studies, over 80% reported an improvement with SPARKLES.
Can SPARKLES interfere with my vision?
No. Because the stimuli sit in the peripheral vision area of the lens, your sharp central vision is not affected.
Are they approved by the Ministry of Health?
Yes. The technology is approved by the Israeli Ministry of Health for improving attention measures in children and adults with attention difficulties or ADHD. It is also approved for sale in the European Union.
Are there side effects?

_The personal fitting
SPARKLES are personally tailored: what does that mean?
Fitting the SPARKLES stimuli map is personal and unique to everyone. It includes facial measurements and a series of questionnaires and computerized tests. At the end, based on the data collected in the fitting, SPARKLES are made with a stimuli map unique to each person.
Does the fitting include an eye exam?
An eye exam is available for an extra fee at some of our service centers.
As a rule, we use your current prescription, which you enter. If your fitting takes place at one of our service centers, we can read the prescription from the glasses you wear today.
You'd be surprised: most users have normal vision and wear a high-quality plano (zero-power) optical lens!
Are there tests in the personal fitting?
During the personal fitting you'll be asked to do some tasks on a computer. Don't worry: no prior knowledge is needed and there are no right answers. Just do the tasks as best you can and we'll take care of the rest. The data is used only for your personal fitting.
Do you diagnose ADHD?
No. We are not a diagnostic institute and do not diagnose ADHD. The tests in the personal fitting are only for fitting SPARKLES.
Do I need to practice with the glasses before I see results?
No practice or training is needed: you can enjoy better attention as soon as you put on SPARKLES.
